my face is red after a facial mask?
I just put on a facial mask (Avon Pure PoreFection), and when I washed it off, my face was red, all in the places were the mask was. I always use these product and I had never had this problem. I was on the sun today, but I used a SPF 60 sunscreen, and I'm not near my period, so I doubt my skin was sensitive for those reasons. What could it be? Can I use it again? Will the redness go away?
I have used this mask many times, in fact I've been using it once a week for about two years, and I don't have very sensitive skin.
my guess is it contains benzoyl peroxide... that can make you very red, and people may not be allergic for months while using it and then bam! you're all red. i know, it sucks. even if it doesn't contain benzoyl, you're probably still having an allergic reaction. try it again on a little corner of your face when you don't mind being red a little while. if you react again, find another product. you may find a better alternative! good luck.
