how to lighten eyebrows?

i am preparing to dye my hair caramel-blonde. my natural color is fairly dark auburn, and my brows are black, so i would like to lighten them a shade or two. has anyone tried and can anyone recommend a good SAFE method of bleaching? i don't want to go blind, so no at-home coloring kits or clorox for me ...
i may just shell out some dollars for salon-dyed eyebrows, or i may just keep my natural color and lighten with shadow or not at all. but i thought i would try here first. thanks for any help!
sorry -- when i said "no at-home kits" what i meant was, i'm not open to using ordinary hair dye on my eyebrows. thanks, i will check out the sally hansen kit.

Sally Hansen brand makes an eyebrow bleaching kit. I know you said no at-home kits, but I've used it many times, and it really could not be safer. You mix some crystals that look like salt into a thick cream, and it activates the bleach. The cream is really thick, so it can't run into your eyes. Then you apply it with a tiny spatula that comes in the kit. Leave it on for a few minutes, and then wipe it off with a wash cloth. It's so easy, and it's cheap. If you're paranoid about getting it into your eyes, just buy a store brand of plain old saline solution to have on hand to rinse it out if you get a little in there. But I really can't imagine how you would. I have shaky hands and bad hand-eye coordination, and I've never had a hard time with this product. Good luck!

makeup please help with eyeliner and mascara?

some times when i wear black eyeliner .i wear it on top but under my lashes.the thing is i have short lashes .so i was wondering is it ok not to wear mascara.or would that look stupid.once i tried waxing my eye brows and the wax dripped on my lash so where it fell it wont grow back.so mascara makes that really show.i have green eyes and auburn hair.what colors of make up should i wear for a Natural look?how about the almay kits?i want some thing that will last threw out the day.i herd if you put eyeshadow over the eyeliner that helps to keep it on longer.is this true?

1. Short lashes need mascara. Try getting your eyeliner as close in between your lashes as possible to give the illusion of a fuller lashline, then curl your lashes and apply mascara using a tiny wand so you can get every lash.

2. For a natural look gold, muted copper, brown, beige and tan will look gorgeous, wear brown eyeliner rather then black because it will go better with your complexion and brown/black mascara.

3. I love the Almay Kits! They come designed for your eye color and they work really well for me.

4. Use a base such as too faced shadow insurance, and then a very small amount of cream eyeshadow such as Revlon illuminance, before applying your eyeshadow. This makes it stay on way longer.
