Eye Shadow Brushes
Will it work if I wet my eye shadow brush and then apply it like eyeliner?
i really want different color eyeliner, but i have sensitive skin and can only use Clinique, which can get pricey. so i wanted to improvise!
chyeahhh i do that all the time! =D its a lot easier to control i think and it look ssofter and less harsher than pencil i think. just wet your eyeliner** brush and make it damp, not soaking wet. than gather some eyeshadow on it and then line your eyes. make sure you use an eyeliner brush and not an eyeshadow brush or the ones that come with the eyeshadows. goodluck
What are the best drug store products to buy? (foundation, brushes, concealer, eye shadow, pencil eye liner)?
I'm 15. I prefer a natural most of time for school, but neutral looks are good. Then just a few eye popping looks. But i dont know what to buy. Anything online is not a option. Give me ideas for
-eye liner(liquid & pencil)
-Bronzer
-lipstick(nothing that makes my lips dry)
-lip gloss
-concealer
-eye shadow
-bases for the eye shadow

- eye liner : revlon luxurious colour eyeliner, it glides on easily and great colour pay off which last all day. it also comes with a smudger on one end so that you can smudge the eyeliner if desired! as for liquid eyeliner i'd suggest maybelline new york waterproof liquid liner. it's waterproof and it's easy to control with a firm felt tip applicator.
- bronzer : physician formula bronzers are great.
- lipstick : revlon renewist lip color, comes in a variety of shades and it's a moisturizing lip stick so it won't make your lips dry.
- lip gloss : revlon super lustrous lip gloss, it's not sticky and the texture is nice - not too thick but not watery either... just perfect. it comes in several really pretty shades too!
- concealer : check out covergirl concealers... they have concealers suit for each specific skin type. cg smoothers concealer for dry skin, fresh complexion under eye concealer for oily skin, truconceal concealer for normal skin.
- eye shadow : L'oreal HIP eyeshadows, they're extremely pigmented... great colour pay off and easy to work with.
- I know it's not drugstore but urban decay primer potion is the best primer i've come across, smashbox can be found at some drugstores and you could go with photofinish primer as a base for the eyeshadow. I'd actually just suggest using your foundation as a base for the e/s though, it works just as good and it'll save you from spending more money.
