Coastal Scents 88 Matte or 88 Shimmer Palette?
hey......i might be getting the 88 palette soon. i might get the matte pallete. but i would also like shimmer in my makeup.
and i want to know about the claires 10 pc eyeshadow palette as shimmery as the shimmer palette or as matte as the matte pallete....it sounds pretty confusing....

if you want to add shimmer to an eyeshadow from the matte palette, just use a shimmery eye shadow base before applying your eyshadow. the shimmer will show through the color.
Coastal Scents 88 Metal Mania Palette.. Worth the money?
I already have the 88 Ultra Shimmer Palette that i love and use daily. I was thinking about getting the matte palette because i have no matte eyeshadow but then i came across the metal mania palette. It looks amazing but is it? Has anyone tried it? And is it different then the matte palette??

The metal mania palette is definitely amazing! In my opinion, it is way better than the 88 shimmer, just because it has wearable colors and the pigmentation is better. Some of the colors in the 88 shimmer were chalky especially in the top 4 or 5 rows. Almost every color in the metal mania palette has great color payoff. The matte palette is only worth buying if you prefer having matte colors, otherwise it's the exact same as the 88 shimmer. If you want really good quality matte shadows, instead of getting some you won't use and that'll have horrible quality, just purchase some individual shadows from Makeup Forever, which are BEAUTIFUL!
