clinique productssss?

yesterday i purchased
1- clinique liquid facial soap, and she gave me oily skin formula based on what i told her.
2- dramtically diff. moisturizing gel in a tube.

now both of these are for mainly oily skin and i have more dry skin than oily. I used these last night and this mornign and my dry skin is worse than ever, i think its because i have the oily skin products and they are drying out my skin. If i return them for

1-clinique liquid facial soap mild formula which is for dry to very dry skin.
2- dramatically diff. moisturizing lotion which is for dry skin and i purchase
3- mild clarifying lotion which is their exfoliator for dry skin.

should my dry skin be resolved if i exchange my clinique oily skin formula products for clinique dry skin formula products?

and, will they let me exchange them after 2 uses? THanks so much I know this was a long question..

...the only reason i can think of her giving you that is maybe you have dry skin due to harsh acne products????

if the clinique consultant was wrong, you should be able to take it back to a reputable department store. if they say no, ask to speak to the department manager. most department stores allow the return of skin care products if the customer is unhappy.
