Mac Eyeshadow Heat
making my makeup last at work?
I work in a coffee shop, so i'm constantly surround my heat from the espresso bar and running around serving coffee.
Well today I did my makeup really good for work, I wore MAC satelite dreams in the crease and MAC Yogurt all over the eyelid. Before doing that I applied MAC prep + prime, it did not even last for 4 hours. I got home and noticed that all the purple was faded, and it looked like I didn't have any eyeshadow on my eyelids.
Is it possible that I have oily eyelids? No matter what I do my eyeshadows will not stay on, and I really want it to, since I like wearing makeup to work 
What are ways to make it last for hours and hours?
A primer like urban decay primer potion or too faced shadow insurance will prevent creasing and fading and to make the color bolder a colored or white base will make it pop. you can used eyeliner for a base. Mac prep+prime doesnt really work as an eyeshadow primer and primers like the one mentioned above really work on oily lids and hold all day. A cheaper alternitive is the L'oreal De-Crease primer works very well also! hope this helps good luck! advice... Do not apply hairspray EVER to your face.
A couple of beauty questions?
Around my eyes is slightly darker so if I ever wear eyeshadow it ends up looking strange and discoloured. Is there any way to fix this without wearing concealer?
Have you ever used any of the MAC foundations, are they good?
Which is the best heat protective product to use on your hair if you're going to be styling it?

for your eyes you could try creams but you will need concealer. i like mac foundations, however dermatologists say its the worst for your skin because originally mac was for stage shows so they needed heavy make up so its so heavy on your skin that it cant breathe. i use trevor sobrie heat spray.
