bare minerals foundation!?
which one of the four bare mineral foundations that come in the gift package do you put on first?
it came with "fair", "mineral veil", "warmth",and "fairly light" i watched the dvd that came with it but it didnt help any... thank ya'll soooo much
Choose either fair or fairly light, whichever matches your skin tone. Are you fair or fairly light? If you're in between the two shades, you can mix them together to match your skin tone. Warmth is like a bronzer, you apply it (very sparingly, a little tiny bit is all you need) to your face where the sun would naturally hit your face, like your cheekbones, your forehead, the bridge of your nose or down the center of your nose, lightly on your chin. When I say sparingly, I mean the tiniest little bit. After you apply your blush, if you use one, then you apply the mineral veil. Mineral veil is the finishing powder that helps set your makeup and give you an airbrushed look.
The reason they give you two foundations, is because people usually have either yellow undertones or pink undertones. Depending on what your undertone is, will depend on which foundation you use. I use Medium, which is the darker of the two I got in my first kit. Sometimes I will use the medium beige (the lighter of the two) as a concealer for dark circles under my eyes.

A question on applying bare minerals?
Okay, so I've looked my question up before and I even watched that DVD that came with the starter kit, but I'm still a little confused on the order that the stuff goes on in. Mostly I'm confused about the mineral veil and the bisque.
Alright, so I recently bought the starter kit which included;
The two bare minerals foundations (fair and fairly light), warmth, mineral veil, and I bought the bisque.
My question is, when do you apply it all. Does the bisque come after you put on the foundation or before? And do you put on the mineral veil the very last?

Some people put concealer (Bisque) on before foundation, some put it on after to avoid over applying the concealer.
I usually put it on before foundation, so this is the order of how I put on makeup:
1. Bisque
2. Foundation
3. Blush (if you wish)
4. Warmth
5. Mineral Veil (put on last so it can "set" the make up)
Also - if you are not sure which foundation to use, put a small stripe of both colors on you cheek and see which one shows up the least. The colors can even be mixed to match your individual skin tone.
