bare minerals question?
just want to know a little about there eye shadows & foiling.
like;
do you like it?
is foiling hard?
does it take a lot of time?
are they worth the $?
As a professional makeup artist for over 20 years I have seen more damaged skin from Bare Minerals than what you can imagine.
All of the Bare Mineral Products are packed with an ingredient called bismuth oxychloride that is a form of arsenic lead very toxic to the body and will irritate your skin where it will itch and feel burning.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!
Using Bare Minerals will cost you more in dermatologist fees.
Bare Minerals. Grr, what am i doing wrong?
So i spend $100+ on bare minerals the other day.
I hate it!!
It doesn't look like i'm wearing makeup.
Am i doing something wrong?
I bought the light starter kit, with the 3 brushes, light & fairly light foundation, warmth and mineral vale.
and i bought the foil eyes kit. (2 eye shadows and brush.)
I put the foundation on, then the warmth, then the vale.
What am i doing wrong? everyone says its amazing, but it doesn't seem to work on me...
I love the eye kit, but the rest all seems like crap...
Am i doing something wrong?
Tips please?
A primer. You need to use a foundation and eyeshadow primer. This will give the powder something to stick to. That way, it will last, show up brighter, cover more, and won't crease. I would suggest either Studio Gear or Lorac Primers for foundation, and nothing beats Urban Decay Primer Potion for eyeshadow. Especially with powders, you need something that's going to make your makeup show up. The makeup will either soak into your skin, or fall off if you don't use a primer. Check out Sephora or Ulta websites and check out some reviews on some primers. Check things out and I promise you'll find something will work.
