Is L'Oreal HIP bright shadow duos too much for a teen?
I'm 15, and I plan to thin them out dramatically, but still get bright colors. If I use face powder or something over it, do you think it will be too dramatic for my eyes? I'm quite good at make-up and don't smear and all that, so I was just wondering comments, opinions, reviews...
Yeah I see what your saying, but I plan on just mostly outlining with it, not really covering the whole eyelid...
I love the HIP colors. If you put them on as liner with an angle brush, that would look very cool. Also to make them softer, put a layer of white eyeshadow on your lids first, then add a touch of HIP and blend, blend, blend. Play around, they are so cheap that it's not a huge deal if you don't like them. I have the blue/turquoise, the purple/gold and the burgundy ones and I like them all.

l'oreal came up with a new line called hip and now the made these eyeshadow pigements are they good and i have black eyes and no color seems good on my eyes brown make my eyes lokk scray and dead i look like a racoon if i wear brown eye shadow which would look goodmyeyes from those pigements color
Have you tried Bronze color? Sometimes it's the old fashion's that are tried but true. I have used base colors to models etc, before applying color. Base color have a range of shades, green,purple yellow. They are similar to fountains for the face, but designed for the eye area. It;s starting out with a clean pallet that you can then add actual shades of eyeshadow.
It could be the way you are applying the shadow too. More is not better. Plus the design or shape of your eye makes a huge difference. The one way you can discover what looks best on you is to study other people with the same eye shape. Or you can draw your eye on a paper and like an artist, design your unique look.
