Not all prom dresses are tight on top, but the bustline is generally fitted enough to keep the dress up.

Speaking of keeping the dress up, bear in mind when wearing a prom dress that a proper fit and proper support from a good bra are essential to ensuring the dress both stays in place and looks good. You don't want to spend your entire evening pulling your dress up and adjusting the top. Make sure that your bra gives good lift, ensuring the dress doesn't pull down on the bust. Also make sure the dress is not too loose; but also not too tight, as this can cause unattractive bulging.

One prom dress can be worn alone or with an accent on top such as a shrug, a scarf or simply just some jewelry. Because the entire neckline is open, flashy pieces of jewelry are a great choice with a prom dress. Large stones or glittering diamonds will go with just about any prom dress.

The nature of the dress also lends itself well to hair worn loose on the shoulders, but an updo can also enhance your neck and show off that jewelry beautifully. When choosing a prom dress, beware of tan lines! If you plan to wear prom options often, it's a good idea to choose a bandeau top swimsuit as well so that you won't have tan lines from the straps. Enhance your shoulders with a light bronzer or shimmering powder.

Because prom dresses exude sex appeal and glamour, they pair well with strappy stilettos or also with classic pumps. Choose shoes that will match the type of prom dress; long evening gowns call for simply and elegant, while short sexy options demand something a little more flamboyant.

What is your Favorite type of Eyeshadow?

Just curious, because I prefer to use loose Shimmer mineral pigments. But there are pressed and loose. Matte, satin, Shimmer, and Glitters. I also make my own colors with the mineral ingredients, so maybe that's why I prefer loose?

I like to use matte pressed shadows, mainly because im clumsy and would probably spill the loose minerals. For my normal make-up routine i just use brown and black matte colors. (Medium Brown on lid, Dark brown in crease, Darker black smudged on outer crease [if you wanted to know=)] )
Every now and then i like to use shimmer just if im feeling bubbly and happy that day. I usually like to look the loose shimmer eye shadows because i find they are more shiny/shimmery.
